The Writing Contest is Live!
Check your accounts, we just loaded up 50 missions to complete the writing contest. All you have to do is write a fictional story about an adventure in the Belize rain forest(see the details in your mission). We’ll pay you in 7 days after you submit your mission. Later this month, we’ll determine the best article based on thoof performance badges and award $50 to the winner on top of the fees we are paying everyone to write up this offer!.
Note we are also asking everyone to include / embed this video in their article. We’re hoping some of the slides help to paint the picture a bit . . . So let your imagination go and see what you can do.
Get Paid to Write for this Contest
We are sponsoring a contest. We ask that you write a sponsored article for the LinkyLoveArmy. We will pay you for your submission.
The article will be a fictional article about a person that takes a vacation to the a resort to be named in the offer. The resort is located in Belize. Your article will include a YouTube video.
The article should be something of a thriller talking about the Belize vacation, rainforest, ecotourism, Mayan ruins, Belize and the name of the resort. The article should be at least 200 words long.
In addition, you will need to include a thoof rank badge in your article. The person with the highest thoof rank on their article by October 31st, will win $50 in addition to the fee that they will be paid for writing the article.
In the event that there is a thoof rank tie, the tie breaker will be decided by the highest word count. If that ties also, then keyword density for the word Belize vacation will be used. If that doesn’t break the tie, then we will choose it based on creativity.

Example of How to Get More Conversions on B2C Missions
We’ve got a lot of very exciting things getting ready to happen around the LinkyLoveArmy.
For those of you patiently (and impatiently) waiting for some action, I wanted to share a quick example of something that will help you convert more when ever you cover our B2C missions.
If you visit
http://www.softduit.com/brt_paid-to-read-emails.htm
You will see a flash video example of the Inbox Dollar program.
The important thing about this video, is how it shows the reader visitor what to expect and how to fill out the form when they sign up for Inbox dollars.
We never want to surprise our readers. As bloggers, we are essentially a guide for our readers, cutting through the internet to help them find a path to what ever it is they are looking for. We always want to help show them how to get somewhere and help them avoid any surprises along the way.
This video does a pretty good job of showing readers how to sign up for this program and what to expect. As you write articles that show readers a great service or tool, you might consider when it is appropriate to help guide your readers through any red tape or surprises. This will help your readers and increase the potential that they will follow through.
If you have not received an offer in the bloggers section to cover the Inbox Dollars program, send me an email and I’ll add you to the list.
In the meantime, stay posted, some great new things are coming soon.
Mission Extensions
Several of the direct pay missions assigned on Friday have been extended an extra 1 - 2 days. Some of the missions were loaded just before the expiration.
We initially expected the missions to go out 2 days earlier and the dates were not updated to reflect the time frame. For those of you that requested an extension, we have given 2 days and for everyone else we have given 1 day.
We didn’t want to hold the missions in the que if you were not interested in the missions. If you need 2 days, please send us an email and an extension will be granted, otherwise we will reassign the mission and funds to another blogger.
Happy Blogging!
First Hybrid Missions Launched
We have kicked off our first hybrid missions! (We have also kicked off several batches of Direct Pay Promotional Missions - so check your account)
To be more precise, we’ve kicked off our first 100 hybrid missions. In the past we have offered B2C missions. Bloggers could log in to the B2C section grab the tracking code or banners with tracking code, publish the article and earn a commission for each reader that signed up or followed through on the particular item that was being advertised.
Those missions also had a group earning rate. For each conversion by any blogger an identified amount would be contributed to a pool for a later split amongst all blogger participants.
We have had some success with these missions especially with the Pictures.com and Transformers missions. The Pictures.com missions paid bloggers every time a reader signed up for a free photo contest by submitting a picture via upload.
The Hybrid Alternative
With the hybrid missions we are removing the group payment rate on the back end and replacing it with a direct payment to bloggers up front within seven days of completing their article.
The direct up front payment rate will vary from one mission to the next and will typically be proportionate to a multiple of the group earnings rate.
LinkyLove Mixed In
With the hybrid model we are also going to include a linkylove component. Many bloggers have told us over the last few months that the linkylove aspect of the LinkyLoveArmy is the most important factor. We’ve received many requests to boost the LinkyLove factor in our missions. As we kick off the hybrid model, we are working with a new campaign covering Inbox Dollars(Offer ID 787 in B2C section), a site that pays people to read emails, surveys and play games.
The LinkyLoveArmy is paying bloggers to right a short short article about Inbox Dollars and include the tracking link or banners (with the tracking link for the campaign) and also link to any additional articles identified.
We will take the articles submitted by LLA members and utilize those as targeted links in the next round of this campaign so get your entry in early to start earning links!
Payment on the Inbox Dollars Campaign
The Inbox Dollars missions will pay $2 up front (this is a very short article) and $1 in commissions for every person that signs up under your individual banners with tracking links from the B2C section.
Complete Your Article and Get Paid
All you have to do is log in to our new bloggers section, and follow the view mission details instruction for your InBox Dollars mission. Once you submit your permalink and it is verified, we will pay you $2 within 7 days. The commissions will be paid separately once your account reaches a $50 minimum for all missions(we’re working to lower that minimum).
This is just the first mission of this type. We will have many more and the payment rates will sometimes be more, much more and will sometimes be less depending on the nature of the product or service.
Correction
We have separately rolled out the next round of the Zwinky campaign. This is a normal B2C missions, but the early additional permalinks provided over the next 7-10 days will be targeted in the next round of linkylove.
Rules
Just a reminder. No one should sign up for any B2C services using their own affiliate tracking link. Your commissions could be voided if you sign up under your own tracking link provided after you login.
Also, many B2C missions will not display the same page to bloggers whose IP addresses are located in countries outside of the advertisers requirements. You can still participate in the mission, and attempt to attract your readers to the offers where those readers do reside within the targeted areas.
Dogs and Watches
I’m looking for volunteers for two new wedge position missions. I’m also looking for first round article volunteers to follow the wedge position.
All of these missions will be paid within seven days of submitting the permalink.
The wedge position topics include dogs and watch repair.
The follow on articles include dogs, watch repair, and dragon naturally speaking.
Some of these are brand new and some are a few previous missions that we are wrapping up for this round. Contact me via email if you are interested.
5 Wedge Positions Opening this Week
If you are interested in being featured in a Wedge position this week, we have 5 openings to kick off the week. To qualify for the positions, please email me at colonel.love@linkylovearmy.com with your draft submission for an article.
Your article for any of these 5 positions should be 400 words long, and feature multiple screen shots of the product in use (available in free toolbar download).
All 5 of these products are blog/email/forum friendly toolbars or tools that you can use in those areas. They each pay out when your readers install the toolbar in their browser.
These offers are targeted towards internet users in the United States and Canada (The fifth offer also includes Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom) If you are located in a country that does not support this offer you will be redirected to a different site. You can still be featured in the wedge position as the web does not discriminate. A good blog and a good article will work regardless of where you are located. Note. If your blog validates without error that will increase the effectiveness of this campaign in the search engines.

Wedge Position 2

Mission Completion Deadlines - Paid to Blog Articles
The LinkyLoveArmy launched a new Advertisers service offering last month. As a result we are now accepting and filling more paid to blog missions.
When missions for paid to blog articles are sent out, LinkyLoveArmy members will have 72 hours to complete the mission. If you need an extension, you must send us an email before the 72 hour deadline and you will receive an additional 24 hours unless specified in the mission instructions.
If you can not or do not accept a mission (all missions are optional), your mission will be reassigned when your 72 hours expires. If you login and reject the mission, we will be able to re-assign that mission faster to another LLA member.
Potential Planned Outage
Our servers will be undergoing routine maintenance on July 1st Sunday (US EST) from 10PM until July 2nd at 2 am. During this maintenance period we may be offline for short periods of 15 - 30 minutes.
If you notice any disruption, please check back after that time frame.
Transformers Mission is Live!
Thanks everyone for the fast turn around on the volunteer effort for the Transformers Mission!
We are getting faster, more efficient and more effective.
We’ve got more work to do to get this Army bringing in the spoils of war, but we are making progress and I want to thank everyone for that.
We have had a wave of new volunteers over the last couple weeks, and I’m hoping to put out some fresh and updated rules, instructions, How to items and FAQ’s.
Hang in there, but feel free to drop me a comment or email me with any questions.
Transformer Movie Wedge Position Volunteer Requests
The movie The Transformers is coming out on July 4th. We are looking for 2 volunteers to write up about 400 words about the movie, the old cartoons and even the toys.
We’ll feature articles in the wedge position if they are heavily laden with keywords for Transformers or Transformers Movie.
Here’s one of the banners for this op. Bloggers earn money when ever someone submits an email from a US address on this program.
This op will pay bloggers about $0.58 per email sign submitted and it will have a group contribution rate of $0.30 per email submitted(ergo user inputs an email and cash register rings) A survey follows the submit button, but the leed is already generated at that point in time.
We have a number of available ‘email submit’ offers such as this, that do convert well for other internet sites, if you think you can make something happen on your site with one of the other options, send me an email and we will work out what it will take to put together a group option on one of those also.
Operation Photo Shoot and Submit
I have just delivered a new mission to all LinkyLoveArmy soldiers.
This is a hot mission opportunity with simple completion requirements and it is already starting to convert well.
All you need to do is write a short and convincing article to encourage your readers to participate in a Photo Contest.
When they upload a picture to the contest after filling out their Name, address and email address, they will be entered to win $10,000 and you will have earned a conversion(Detail amounts went out in the mission).
This mission requires three links.
- Your Individual tracking link which you will find when you log into the B2C login tab above.
- One link to one of our volunteer wedge bloggers
- Another link to one of our other volunteer wedge bloggers.
Mission Goal - Tap into 60,000 Search Engine Searches each month
For this mission we have 3 volunteer wedge bloggers covering three keywords that bring in close to 20,000 searches per month according to Overture, so extrapolated to Google and other SE’s we are working to capture a percentage of 60,000 searches per month on this mission!
Enter your mission soon! The Google update will be coming and we hope to take some top spots with our wedge blogger articles.
Supporting articles that have the most conversions will be selected for a second round of linkylove.
You can be a top converter if you write a very convincing article, that shows your readers how to enter the contest, and if you write your article heavy with keywords like (photography contest, photo contest, baby photo contest, free photo contest).
If you need help optimizing your articles, please ask questions in the forums.(If you can’t get into the forums, send me an email and I will post a response in the forum for you and everyone to read and benefit from.)
I Have Never Read the Books, Can I Participate in the Harry Potter Promotion?
One of our members asked me if they could participate in the Harry Potter Promotion even if they have never read the books.
Here is my reply
Sure you can participate. You can rail against them if you like. You can even attack them and the effort too if you like.
That’s entirely up to you, but could stir up some controversy which you may or may not desire. There is a proven linkbuilding strategy of taking an unpopular stance on a topic in order to drum up attention and links. PayPerPost thrives on the negative attention that TechCrunch provides them as an example.
You can do something extreme like that or anything in between.
There are three things that you should always consider aksing yourself:
- What do I want to do with my blog?
- What do my readers want to read?
- What will the impact of my article or blog be on the rest of the blogosphere?
Those are all rhetorical and you will never ever be able to accurately predict everything, but it can help guide you in how to write a better article that will achieve the goal of bringing you more satisfied readers and possibly more links too!
To ellaborate even more, your participation will still be helping two good charities, it will build out more linkylove and you may earn a little money yourself for your hard work and effort!
So please feel free to participate and help raise $1 million for charity through Harry Potter book sales. You can truly write anything you like in the LinkyLoveArmy when we are supporting a campaign of this nature. If you attack a cause, that’s fine, but be prepared to defend your position if other bloggers disagree with you. They may send you a little linkylove in the form of criticism of your article, but hopefully they will at least do you the courtesy of a link back!

Selling 1 million Harry Potter Books
The mission is out and we are looking to sell 1 million Harry Potter Books. Along the way we will promote our blogs together, earn some money and donate a dollar to charity for every book that is sold!
There are contests and many activities to keep us busy and entertained along the way. Hope you like writing fiction too!
Contest
If you write a great ending to the seventh book and it matches the facts of the actual book the closest you could win $500!
Again, email me, PM me or leave a comment here if you need more information, need to register with the LLA or have any other questions!
Then get your permalink submissions in so that you can share the earning proceeds for the month of June!
Ortho Evra Patch Mission
We have started a campaign to notify women about complications that the FDA has identified in relation to the Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch.
Offer Link Text from B2C site
If you have registered with the LinkyLoveArmy you should have received 2 emails relating to this mission. The first email contained a small error in the html code, which was corrected in the second email.
This is the initiation of this mission and its different in character than some of our other missions. We are working to help get the word out to people that need to know about these complications and help them to get in touch with the proper people to help them assess their options and next courses of actions.
For our efforts we will receive a commission identified in the email for people that are successfully referred to screeners to assess their needs, answer their questions and help them take appropriate action.
Keyword Targeting
We are working to compete with Law firms around the country in the notification process. They are spending large amounts of money on various forms of advertising. We are simply working together in a collaborative.
Here are the Overture details of the keywords we are targeting. We are hoping to move our wedge position articles into the tops spots to claim a third of the traffic looking for the information we will be providing.
Optional Missions
All of our missions are optional and if this mission does not fit your blog or niche, you are always given the complete freedom to opt in or out at your leisure with no ramifications towards future missions.
Participating with Unregistered Blogs
If you have a blog that this mission would work well on and its not registered yet with the LinkyLoveArmy, you can add additional Blogs with their URLS here. You may then post for this mission on that URL using the information from the original email.
Do not Sign Up from Your Own Blog Article
If you are interested in signing up for more information relating to this mission, please do not sign up from your own article.
Eligible Countries
The advertiser does not specify that this is a US only opportunity, however based on the nature of this issue, I suspect that it may be. If you are a blogger from a different country, you can still participate and help your readers from the US. Plus, you will help the group effort to promote the primary article in this effort.
Below are screen shots of the landing page. If you are attempting to view the landing page from outside the US, you will likely be redirected to a different page, but your US readers will see the following:
Secondary Positions
Once you submit your permalink, we will be reviewing the articles to identify those that have been written with strong SEO techniques. For the second round we will target these articles as we all look to promote this effort a second time around, from some new blogs and from some blogs a second time.
Covering this Mission Multiple Times
You can repetitively cover this mission. You can post on this mission as many times as you like in repetitive blog articles. For SEO purposes we would highly encourage that you utilize unique content each time. You only need to post once to be eligible for the group earnings share.
You will earn a credit for each individual blog you post this from as well.
