Home Depot Mission Image Issues fixed
The image issues for the Home Depot Banner ads have been corrected. All art work should be working now!
If you have joined the LinkyLoveArmy after this mission was assigned, you can participate still. Please send me an email with the blog(s) that you would like to cover this on and I’ll get you the details.
Upcoming Mission Categories- Real Estate and Photos
We will be rolling out a mission this week focussed on a birth control patch. Later this week or early next week we will be launching 2 campaigns.
The first will be related to Real Estate and Mortgages.
The second will be related to photography and photo contests.
Please stop by the forum and leave a message if you have a blog that might provide a good setting for the wedge position for either of these missions. If you have a blog that would be great for this mission, but its not yet registered with the LLA, stop by the forum and also register your blog today!
To be featured in the wedge position, we will be looking for well written articles primed for SEO purposes. They will need to be keyword heavy and at least 400-600 words, no more than 1500.
If you would be interested in establishing this type of flagship article on your site with the support of our army of bloggers so that we can all earn money on this campaign together, you are in the right place!
Home Depot Image Issues
We are experiencing some technical difficulties with the art work associated with the Home Depot campaign. The images that are displaying are not correct.
The links still stake people to the Home Depot sign up page. Our tech support is looking into it. It would appear that some of the original art work was over written by accident.
I’ll post an update when the problem is solved.
Mission: Home Depot Gardening Letter Signup
I have just sent out one of a series of missions intended to compliment Father’s Day.
This one is for the Home Depot.
How it works
If your readers sign up for the Home Depot Gardening Letter by providing their name and a valid email address from a US IP address (Home Depot is US only, even though they have a few stores in protectorates . . .) You will receive directly the amount identified in the email, plus for each blog that you cover this on, you will be eligible for the group bonus (1 part per blog article on different blogs).
Here’s what the text looks like from Home Depot
Here’s what one of the banners look like.
- This offer will turn into a Pumpkin at 1 minute after midnight on 6/1/07 (Home Depot will only pay for signups from now until then.)
- You can write about this as many times as you like, you can put banners in your sidebar if you like as well.
- You cannot offer incentives to your readers for signing up.
- You cannot sign up under links on your own blog other blogs are your choice as a reader of those blogs . . .
You should receive an email with detailed instructions. If you do not receive an email, contact me at colonel.love@linkylovearmy.com and also check to make certain that the email did not go to your spam folder. I can and will send the email again if necessary
Earning Money from free White Papers
I have detailed several things for our members and potential members to consider about a new campaign type that we will soon be offering. Basically, we can offer white papers on many different topics free to your readers. Your reader will need to fill out some basic contact information, but will not need to provide a credit card number.
Once the form is complete your reader will then receive the White Paper free. Please see the details in the forum thread under Business Campaigns and let me know what you think. This type of campaign could be very beneficial to many bloggers especially when we apply our army of bloggers to the effort. There are live white papers from these programs available at here.
First Campaigns Kicking Off Today!
Our first live campaigns are kicking off today! We have sent out our first mission to bloggers that volunteered for the wedge position last week.
They are writing their point articles and as we receive the permalinks back in we will get the next round off and running as well. This will work as a bit of an iterative cycle as we go through our ‘battle formation.’
Keep your eyes on your email for your mission and make sure you have your email set to receive from the LinkyLoveArmy!
PS We are looking for one more volunteer for the wedge position for an article on Intuit’s QuickBase online database tool, project management tool, and CRM systems. This is for a free 30 day trial to QuickBase and will do very good. Send an email to Colonel Love if you are interested and sign up today if you haven’t already.
We’ll probably do several missions this week to break the ice and then next week, we’ll go as fast as you want to go.
This Army of Bloggers is Mobilizing!
Missions Delivered by Email - Update Your Contacts Now!
We will be sending some of our first missions out to our new members very soon. If you registered with an email service such as yahoo, aim, hotmail, gmail etc. please add Colonel.love at linkylovearmy dot com to your contacts so that you can receive our missions without the mission going into your spam/junk/bulk email folders by default.
Everyone that has registered so far should have received a welcome email from the same address. If you did not, please check your folders and make sure you add us to your contacts soon so that you will not miss the initial missions.
Initial missions will go out staggered over a several day period. The bloggers that will comprise the point of the wedge formation will receive their missions first. They will have 24 hours to complete their mission and submit their permalink to the LLA Headquarters (more info on this to follow!).
LLA Headquarters will take those permalinks and the campaign url target and create missions for the scouts, who will have 24 hours, then the marines who will have 24 hours, and so on all the way down through the wedge until the entire army is deployed.
Blogger Collaborative
The LinkyLoveArmy brings an Army of bloggers focused on individual campaigns to deliver results. This is the wedge theory of Blog marketing at work. A blog all by its lonesome only has so much power even with a decent readership and substantial PageRank.
However, when a blog is backed up by hundreds and even a few thousand other blogs we are a force to be reckoned with on the internet!A reader may come through Blog A and hear about a product offering for the first time. They may then surf on over to Blog B and then Blog C where they see it for a second time on Blog C. Blog C makes a couple additional points that are very good and offers a link in their write up to Blog D.
Blog D happens to have a niche focused entirely on this particular product. The reader gathers enough information and interest to make a decision and then proceeds to act on that interest. They sign up for the service, download the free trial or ebook, or sign up for a subscription.
Now today in the blogosphere if that happened Blog D would benefit even though Blogs A and C helped. Plus, the reader may have found blog A in the first place because Blog A landed the reader from Search Engine results (derived from hundreds of other links pointing at Blog A!)
The LinkyLoveArmy will generate results because we will develop a synergy together and we will be rewarded for working together instead of being paid to compete against each other. We are not just building LinkyLove we are building a cohesive and functional collaborative of bloggers!
No Clones Here!
Our new service as we have mentioned is not a clone of other services that pay you to write sponsored articles. We will be offering up a brand new business model for bloggers that can be applied to their portfolios of blogs.
New Revenue Model for Bloggers
This new company will feature a revenue model where we benefit from the effort of the group as opposed to benefiting from the efforts as individuals. This will help us all realize a large potential return on our time investments in the form of money. In current models for bloggers today, we (and I am a blogger myself!) are paid a nominal upfront fee for our services promoting products and especially websites for other companies typically websites that are heavy practitioners of SEO strategies. That is not a bad thing but bloggers can benefit in additional ways.
Over the last year our blogging efforts directly benefited advertisers up front. They also benefited from permanent links that remain on our blogs for many months if not years to come. We as bloggers receive only the upfront benefit of the nominal payment in return. The advertisers are taking the risk that we will pay off for them and we take a small secure fee. We now know that our efforts are paying off for our advertisers as they keep coming back and as the industry continues to grow.
Through the LinkyLoveArmy we will help bloggers realize a long term benefit. The benefit will be monetary in one part and will consist of ‘LinkyLove’ in another. We will always benefit from LinkyLoveArmy campaigns and when we suceed we will win big!
Share in the work and Share in the Success!
In the military soldiers often learn to navigate a ‘Confidence Course’ or obstacle course. They learn that they cannot overcome the obstacles without the benefits of the entire team. We are going to apply that same lesson here. Just like it might take 2-3 soldiers to help each other climb up and over a wall, we are going to use multiple blogs to climb up and over a wall and grab the pot of gold at the top. We will then split the rewards not just among the blogs that made it to the top and grabbed the gold. The entire group that lifted those blogs up on their shoulders will benefit together.
Future Mission
Soon, I will communicate your first ‘mission.’ You will be free during the beta and during all future missions to participate in the mission or to turn it down. We are going to be an all volunteer LinkyLoveArmy. There will be room for all blogs in our army and all bloggers that do not bring harm to the community.
There will be more to follow soon, so please check back!
