WordPress.com blogs No Longer Accepted

The LinkyLoveArmy will no longer accept blogs into our program that are hosted on free domains through WordPress.com.

The WordPress organization will delete your blog and all of your writing if you utilize their services and couple it with any form of advertising, including ours.  We do not want you to lose your blogs and your writing, so let’s keep things simple and safe and go elsewhere.

Domain Rental Program

In addition to using free domains at places like www.blogger.com we are establishing a hosted domain rental program.  If you can not afford your own domain or host, or do not have the technical skills to set one up (and we do highly encourage it, but its not for everyone), we will rent some bloggers a domain or sub domain on a hosted account.

This rental program will not require any money up front, and bloggers will only be charged if they do not write regularly on the blog they rent. 

We will have more information on this program shortly. 

We will be accepting offers from existing domain owners, looking to rent out sub domains as well as offering bloggers with rental options to start working a real domain name at higher revenue levels.

I just returned from the podcast and new media convention in Ontario California yesterday. I met up with a lot of great companies, podcasters, and video producers at the show. One of the coolest concepts I walked away with from the show was the idea that the LinkyLoveArmy will be able to help podcasters get paid to podcast!

There are several areas were we will be a little podcast or is make money podcasting on every single show up front. I am very excited about this and I believe that this will help podcasting move into an area where Podcasters will be able to make money from each and every single show that they put together. Better yet they will be alone make money up front as opposed to having to wait for something to occur on the back and from the show.

As we establish this program, I hope to do it in such a way that Podcasters will find that they are incentivized to create more and better shows so that they can make a great deal of money and turn podcasting into a full-time job.
