Mission: Home Depot Gardening Letter Signup

I have just sent out one of a series of missions intended to compliment Father’s Day.

This one is for the Home Depot.

How it works

If your readers sign up for the Home Depot Gardening Letter by providing their name and a valid email address from a US IP address (Home Depot is US only, even though they have a few stores in protectorates . . .) You will receive directly the amount identified in the email, plus for each blog that you cover this on, you will be eligible for the group bonus (1 part per blog article on different blogs).

Here’s what the text looks like from Home Depot

Sign up for your FREE membership to The Home Depot Garden Club and get exclusive offers, coupons, savings, expert tips, advice, regional reports and more. Click here and watch your savings grow.

Here’s what one of the banners look like.

  1. This offer will turn into a Pumpkin at 1 minute after midnight on 6/1/07 (Home Depot will only pay for signups from now until then.)
  2. You can write about this as many times as you like, you can put banners in your sidebar if you like as well.
  3. You cannot offer incentives to your readers for signing up.
  4. You cannot sign up under links on your own blog other blogs are your choice as a reader of those blogs . . .

You should receive an email with detailed instructions. If you do not receive an email, contact me at colonel.love@linkylovearmy.com and also check to make certain that the email did not go to your spam folder. I can and will send the email again if necessary

Home Depot is very prominent in Canada - and we are NOT a protectorate.

So, does it work here? My guess is no.

I don’t think I’m going to get an answer on this before tomorrow after the holiday here in the states.

I suspect that it will not work, as they put together the campaign specifying US as opposed to North America.

I do not know why they would exclude Canada on this, but they may have a reason, possibly a Garden Club offer specific to Canada???
