WordPress.com blogs No Longer Accepted
The LinkyLoveArmy will no longer accept blogs into our program that are hosted on free domains through WordPress.com.

The WordPress organization will delete your blog and all of your writing if you utilize their services and couple it with any form of advertising, including ours. We do not want you to lose your blogs and your writing, so let’s keep things simple and safe and go elsewhere.
Domain Rental Program
In addition to using free domains at places like www.blogger.com we are establishing a hosted domain rental program. If you can not afford your own domain or host, or do not have the technical skills to set one up (and we do highly encourage it, but its not for everyone), we will rent some bloggers a domain or sub domain on a hosted account.
This rental program will not require any money up front, and bloggers will only be charged if they do not write regularly on the blog they rent.
We will have more information on this program shortly.
We will be accepting offers from existing domain owners, looking to rent out sub domains as well as offering bloggers with rental options to start working a real domain name at higher revenue levels.
I think that’s really weird about WordPress.com. I don’t understand their thinking.
I agree, but they have held that position for a couple years now. Its not anything new, but new folks come into the realm of earning money from their blogging work and do not always understand what might happen if they use wordpress.com.
Yes, they don’t. I didn’t understand until recently.
I think this Domain Rental Program you are talking about is cool.
